I forgot to take a picture of the inside but this place was super cute! Amber was our server and she was great. I like that the food is classic breakfast elevated. You can taste how fresh the fries are which is hard to find anywhere. I got the avocado toast and the amount of avocado was great. I normally don’t like micro greens but those were delicious too. The cabbage on it is a little sweet which is a nice combination with the savory sourdough avocado egg and bacon. Even the egg had a really nice deep yellow almost orange yolk. My friend got the chicken sandwich and he said the flavor was delicious. He wasn’t a huge fan of the dressing on it (I think balsamic?) and said it took away from the flavor of the actual chicken but that’s just a personal preference. It wasn’t super busy for a Friday at noon and food came pretty fast. I like that they have specials on the boards when you walk in and a case with fresh pastries and eggs. Will definitely be back!

SCB is a great alternative to the collection of local breakfast restaurants in South Brevard. It's one of the only places in the area that puts a hard focus on creative dishes, high quality ingredients, and gormet presentation. If you're looking for a dinner style breakfast that will come out quick, this is NOT the cafe you're looking for. To really get the most out of this experience, you need to expect out of the box concepts, and very slow table service as everything is made from scratch. Patience pays off. I had the duck confit and my wife got the chorizo biscuits. My daughter got a huge pancake off the kids menu, and we all got sides of bacon (candied and non) plus one extra waffle because why not? I really enjoyed the duck. This is not an animal you get to eat at breakfast very often! Presentation was fantastic (on all dishes). We really enjoyed the service as well. All the wait staff is there to help even if it isn't their table, and they are all happy to do so. We had a wait at the beginning which took a lot less time than expected (they said 20 minutes and it took about 10). A most unassuming plaza but an amazing restaurant! Don't be scared off on approach. Once you step inside youll get it. Local farm ingredients that change seasonally. I had the spinach omelet, best eggs I've ever eaten in all my travels! Will be back... and should they offer cooking classes I'd have to consider.

Southern Cypress Bistro is a farm to table restaurant. the restaurant draws their supplies from four different central Florida farms. The menu shows a trend to revise established menu items found in local breakfast and lunch establishments in the area with a unique, upscale, and somewhat eclectic approach. We tried the Chicken and Waffles and Cheese Fried Eggs. The C&W had a strawberry cream drizzle over the waffles and the chicken consisted of butterflied and exquisitely fried chicken thighs. The Cheese Fried Eggs consist of two eggs fired on top of a bed of cheddar and gruyere cheeses served with potatoes fried with onions and peppers, served with a choice of meats and bread. We found the waffle to be buttermilk smooth and rich in flavor, which mixed with the excellently prepared and fried chicken to a perfect match. The fried eggs were at first daunting to cut up because of the fried cheese at the bottom. However, the cheese mix was another score with its sharp and tangy taste adding to the meal. The potatoes, peppers, and onions, in my opinion, were diced too small. they reminded me of the potatoes you find in that can of hash, but the flavor again was a winner. I had the chori

This place is amazing. I’m so happy that there is finally quality and tasty food close by. We’ve been a few times, and each time our meals have been perfect. They definitely worked hard on their menu and sourcing their ingredients, which we appreciate. We will be regular customers.
